You probably don’t care much about this stuff. You’d probably rather look at my portfolio or my resume. If not, go ahead and read it, I guess. I won’t stop you.
I grew up in Manlius, a suburb of Syracuse, New York. My parents were relatively strict about video games while I was young, but I still found my love of them very early on, before I had any consoles or even regular access to a computer. The moment I had a computer to call my own, I jumped into the deep end and wound up playing an MMORPG, Dungeons & Dragons Online, less than a week later.
My love of programming came about in High School, when I took the offered introductory programming course – Visual Basic. It was quite possibly the easiest class I ever took, and only programming in the barest sense, but it was enough to get me hooked on the feeling that comes when one solves the “last” bug and things work the way they were drawn up.
Besides games, my primary hobbies are Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, reading, and writing. I have a longstanding love of fantasy, and I am in the process of writing a novel in that genre.
